
Barry Moser is an American artist and educator, born 1940, who specializes in printmaking of wood engravings and illustration of books. He is the owner and operator of Pennyroyal Press, a publishing company for engravings and small books. The company was founded in 1970. Moser is best known for his illustrated books of Alice’s Adventure’s in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass. Which won him the National Book Award in 1983 for design and illustration. His works have been shown at the British Museum, the Metropolitan Museum, Harvard University, and the Library of Congress.
