Logan S. Herring Sr., Class of ‘04, graduated from Goucher with a BA in Business Management. At Goucher, he was captain of both the soccer and basketball teams. After graduation, he was asked to take over the struggling Kingswood Community Center in his hometown of Wilmington, DE. Under his leadership, the community center flourished. In 2022, he was the recipient of the Marguerite Barland Award from Goucher for his work eliminating barriers of structural racism and transforming youth engagement in his community.
