Derek Borowsky moved from New Jersey to attend Goucher College and has been in Maryland
ever since. After graduating with a degree in Women’s and Gender Studies and a minor in
Political Science in 2022, he is proud to have worked for the Goucher Prison Education
Partnership, where he volunteered while a Goucher student. He treasures his time as a student
and staff member at Goucher and enjoys connecting with current students during new student
move-in, guest lecture events, and while occasionally sitting in on classes. Outside of work, he
has two beautiful cats who make him smile every day.
